Can't attend every session?
Don't worry! The Saturday and Wednesday Euston classes are interchangeable, so if you sign up for an 8 week course on Wednesdays but miss one or more sessions then you can make up those missed sessions on a Saturday during the 8 week period (or vice versa).

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Tai Chi and Qigong 8 week Course in London Euston is fully guided throughout and suitable for both complete beginners or those with previous experience in either Tai Chi or Qigong.

A friendly, supportive and welcoming atmosphere is promoted in all classes, where experienced students can train alongside beginners, each working at a pace and level best suited to them:
  • New students will learn the difference between Qigong and Tai Chi, explore the key principles and techniques unique to each, and progress weekly through a sequence of movements which can be practiced at home.
  • More experienced students have the option of more challenging exercises (including standing postures) so that they can fine-tune and develop higher level skills, and later on can progress to the more challenging Tai Chi Sequence session.

Those who have unpredictable timetables can choose the drop-in option and don't need to worry about memorising any movements since classes are guided throughout, although we highly recommend booking onto a full course if possible since the secret to progress is consistent practice.

WHAT TO WEAR / WHAT To BRING

  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing and flat soled shoes.
  • Avoid heels, jeans and tight clothing as they will restrict your movement.

  • No need to bring a mat or any other equipment, but you might like to bring a small towel and a bottle of water.
