FAQ

Are these sessions suitable for beginners?
Yes. We will be exploring various Tai Chi and Daoyin (Qigong) movements to help calm the mind and energise the body, all suitable for complete beginners but if you have any injuries or mobility issues email us before making a booking to make sure the class is suitable for you.

What time should I arrive?
Aim to arrive by 10:45am because the entrance on Woodfield Road is not easy to find.

How do I find the entrance?
Look for the small 'Mason & Fifth' sign on the wall on the south side of Woodfield Road and walk down towards the canal - the session will be held in the 'pavillion' next to the courtyard near the canal.

Ask venue staff at reception if you can't find it.

Does the venue have changing rooms?
Changing rooms are not available so it's best to arrive with your training clothes already on.

What should I wear?
  • Any loose, comfortable clothing that won't restrict your movement is fine, but bring several layers to avoid feeling cold during the session.
  • Any flat soled, comfortable shoes will be ok.

Can I invite friends / family?
Yes – this will be a gentle, relaxing session and therefore suitable for beginners, with options provided for more experienced students.

They will need to book their own place using the link above.

IMPORTANT: If you or anyone planning on accompanying you have any injuries or mobility issues email us before making a booking to make sure the class is suitable for you.
