frequently asked questions

What is a Taichillout Zone?
These are areas at festivals, events or conferences where we run regular Tai Chi, Qigong or meditation sessions to help you relax, de-stress and re-charge.

In between sessions you can put your feet up and chillout to a mix of live and recorded ambient tunes, or have a chat with one of our instructors if you have any questions or would like more information.

Do I need to book in advance?
Please check with the event organisers!

What will we be doing?
A mixture of Tai Chi, Qigong and meditation. Check session times on the day or on the event organiser's website.

What should I wear? Do I need to bring a mat?
You don't need to bring anything with you and you don't need a change of clothes. Just come along in whatever you're wearing, however for safety reasons we recommend going barefoot if you're wearing high heels.

I don't have any previous experience, can I take part?
Yes! Our sessions are suitable for complete beginners and are guided throughout so you don't need any previous experience.

I'm not very fit and don't exercise regularly...
That's ok, our sessions are gentle, relaxing and suitable for all ages and fitness levels, however if you have any injuries, health issues or medical conditions please chat with the instructor before the start of the session.
